The Valley of the Sun, our therapy and rehabilitation centre for people with intellectual disability, was established and works thanks to people who donate 1% of their personal income tax to us, as well as thanks to sponsors and individual donors.
Our Artistic Therapy Workshop in Lubiatowo by the Baltic Sea (in Pomorskie Province) was built thanks to people who donated 1% of their personal income tax to Anna Dymna’s Against the Odds Foundation, as well as other donors and sponsors. It is the only facility of this type in Choczewo commune and the area surrounding it.
The Magic Song Festival is a Polish national competition with several stages for people with disabilities who have a talent for singing. Participants compete for Magic Bird Statuettes and art scholarships (1st prize – PLN 24 thousand, 2nd prize – PLN 10 thousand, 3rd prize – PLN 5 thousand). The winner in the adult category performs at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole.
We organise the Albertiana Polish National Theatre and Music Festival of People with Disabilities together with the Brother Albert Foundation. The initiator of the project is Anna Dymna. The festival finale takes place on the Big Stage of the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Kraków.
We organise charity concerts together with the Kraków Philharmonic. The aim of these artistic events is to support artists with diseases and disabilities who are in a difficult financial situation.
